The Kalevala is an epic poem which the Finn Elias Lönnrot compiled from Finnish and Karelian folklore in the 19th century. It is held to be the national epic of Finland and is traditionally thought of as one of the most significant works of Finnish language literature. Also Karelians in the Republic of Karelia and other Balto-Finnic speakers value Kalevala. The Kalevala is credited with some of the inspiration for the national awakening that ultimately led to Finland's independence from Russia in 1917..

Flexible tanks KALEWALA TK3000 made in GERMANY are ideal for transporting, collecting and storing temporarily various liquids, such as fuels and EL-type fuel oil. Other fields of application include civil and environmental protection, as well as getting provisions and supplies to remote areas. Not only do we have a well-proven range of standard types, we also offer tanks tailored to the specific application in question.

With a holding capacity of up to 300,000 liters, the tanks enable the German Federal Army to store even larger of aviation gasoline (avgas) quantities safely. Folded up, the large rubber behemoths, measuring approx. 25 x 8 meters, fit into a small cradle for easy transport.
